Bowman Settings

Bowman contains 2 types of games:
When playing against another player, you can choose to play against another human or against the iPhone itself.
Either way, your objective is to kill your opponent before he kills you.
Place your finger on the screen and pull backwards. On your first shot, take a guess at the strength and angle required. When you lift your finger from the screen, the arrow will be released.
Judging by the landing of your arrow, you can determine if you landed long or short. In your next go, adjust your power and angle to hit your opponent.
You can use the distance display to get an idea of the strength and angle required but you also need to keep in mind that the opponent will change distance every 5 shots. So try and hit him within 5 shots otherwise you will have to recalculate your trajectory.
If the “One Hit KO” setting is enabled, the first person to get shot, loses. It only takes one hit to win.
If the “wind” setting is enabled, you will notice windsocks near the player displaying the direction of the wind. This makes it harder to shoot the enemy as you will have to take the wind into account.
If the “wall” setting is enabled, there will be a wall between you and your opponent.
You will have to aim higher to get your arrow over the wall.
If both the wind and wall settings are enabled, you will find Bowman an extremely challenging game, especially if the “fatigue” settings is set to “on”.
If the “critical hit” setting is enabled, this will reduce the opponents health by DOUBLE the amount when he is hit. The same applies to you.
The “vitality” slider has 5 positions along its slide.
If the slider is set in the middle (position 3), this means that each player will be able to take 3 times the number of hits before he dies. If it is set at the end position (position 5), each player will start with 5 times his normal health.
If the “fatigue” setting is enabled (default), a player who uses maximum power to take his shots will become tired. If he continues to use maximum power, he will continue to remain tired and this will reduce the amount of power he can use against his opponent.
When he starts to use less than full power, he will slowly gain his strength back thereby allowing more powerful shots in the upcoming shots.
Fatigue is indicated by 3 blue bars on the bottom right hand corner of the screen. You will also find that the maximum power figure is limited in number.
To regain your max power capability, shoot a few arrows with less power and you’ll see the blue bars disappear as you regain your strength.
Trying to cheat by shooting just 1% less than the maximum power available will not work. Don’t try it or you will be penalized!
Scores are calculated after the game. The score depends on how quickly and accurately you shoot your opponent. The score is multiplied if you use the wind and/or wall settings.
When playing Bowman in bird hunting mode, you’ll be able to shoot as many arrows as you want to kill as many birds as you can within the 3 minute time limit.
There are 4 bird speeds. Your score is calculated depending on the speed of the bird.
If you shoot a fast moving bird, you will receive more points.
If you try and blitz the sky with as many arrows as you can, it will not work.
The blue force bar on the right side of the screen regulates the speed at which you can release your arrows.
Be selective and pick out the birds which will earn you maximum points.
Make sure you aim carefully because it IS possible to shoot yourself!
If you’re lucky, you may be able catch two birds with one arrow!
If you make it near the top on the scoreboard, you can view your scores on this site by clicking the High Scores tab and then selecting Bowman.
You can also view local and global scores on your iPhone.
Escapa Highscores

Escapa runs a worldwide Top 100 Leaderboard on this very site.
You can see the current top competitors on this page.
Within the Escapa menu options, you’ll also find the top scores. However the iPhone only displays the top 20 scores.
To get your name recognized amongst the thousands of players, enter your unique name in the settings area.
If you qualify to be in the top 100, your name and score will appear on the website leaderboard.
If you qualify to be within the top 20, your name will also appear on the iPhone scores.

Too Much For You?

When the blue squares catch up with the red square (your finger) or you move the red square so violently that it hits the sides of the playing area, the game ends.

Escapa and the Air Force

The game claims that Air Force pilots (Australian, British, Russian or American, depending on the source) are forced to reach two minutes, to train their hand-eye coordination.
However, this rumor is apparently false, as the blue blocks increase their speed regularly, maxing out (after about half a minute) at a speed too fast for most human reflexes.
Unofficial Escapa competitions—usually initiated by a challenge to match a high score—are occasionally held, mainly on gaming or technology forums, and very few honest people survive for even a minute.
However, the exact speed of the game, and thus its relative ease, does depend on the capabilities of the computer running it.
Escapa!

Escapa is played in a small white box, in which there are five rectangles: four are blue auto moving blocks while the main block is a red square.
Here is the starting screenshot from Escapa…
The object of the game is to navigate the red square by dragging it with the mouse within the small white playing field for as long as possible, avoiding both the blue blocks, and the black border surrounding the playing field.
The amount of time the player manages to “survive” is revealed to him when the game ends (when the red square overlaps with a blue rectangle, or touches the black area). Escapa requires a small degree of micromanagement.
iStacked Towers

Since this game is played on the iPhone, you have more variety.

Departure

iStacked departs from this rule and allows players to place their bricks back on top of the tower in any way they see fit. However, they still have to be placed longways or sideways but cannot be placed diagonally.
iStacked has eliminated the strict placement rule.
Go Crazy!! Play as you wanna play.
Position the brick in a way which will make it harder for the next player to place his bricks without causing the tower to fall.

Can Bowman Shoot Birds?

Bowman loves to shoot and kill birds with his bow and arrow.
He’ll give you exactly 3 minutes to shoot down as many birds as you can.
Then give your friend a chance to do the same and see who scores the most.
The highest score will be recorded.
Sequels to the Original

Lemmings has inspired a number of sequels, some which have modified the core gameplay but still involve the use of lemming skills to rescue lemmings. Xmas Lemmings and Oh No! More Lemmings contain the same gameplay as
Lemmings but provide a different set of levels to the player.
Lemmings 2: The Tribes introduces several new types of skills that can be assigned to the lemmings in addition to new levels. Similarly All New World of Lemmings (The Lemmings Chronicles in North America) alters some of the core mechanics of gameplay by reducing the number of key skills and adding other mechanics more typical of a two-dimensional platformer.
3D Lemmings brought the game into the third dimension with skills to take advantage of the additional dimension.
Lemmings Revolution returned to the original’s 2D gameplay and core skillset and mechanics, but featured pseudo-3D graphics, and some of the platformer mechanics originally introduced by The Lemmings Chronicles.
But we can assure you this is the Best and only version you will find of this game on the iPhone!! So Buy it now.
